Aave V4 on Base launched an Equities Hub on 25 September 2026, letting eligible non-U.S. users borrow USDC against seven Coinbase tokenized U.S. stocks. The market opened with a $29 million collateral cap and collateral factors between 65% and 79%.
Aave launched version 4 of its lending protocol on Avalanche, its first deployment outside Ethereum. The release targets lending against tokenised assets such as US Treasurys and money market funds.
Aave has made Chainlink CCIP its default cross-chain infrastructure, extending the protocol beyond GHO transfers and governance to power its Stable Vaults. The standard now handles deposits, withdrawals, and rebalancing across Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum.
Aave's new lending market on the Monad blockchain passed $100 million in deposits on 4 July, two days after its 2 July launch. The market drew $75 million within its first 24 hours.
Aave declared lending pools fully operational on June 1 after a $300 million coalition replaced assets from an April 18 bridge exploit. Aave Labs filed an emergency U.S. federal court motion to unlock $71 million in frozen recovered ETH before restoration could complete.
