Data provider to leading crypto platforms
Confidence in the data behind your product.
“Aggregate Confusion in Crypto Market Data” compared eight crypto data providers across six years of daily data. CoinPaprika received an overall grade of A.
- A overall quality grade the highest grade given in the study
- 4.5% of daily data discarded as unreliable by the authors' method
| Provider | Grade |
|---|---|
| CoinPaprika | A |
| Santiment | A |
| CoinMarketCap | A |
| Live Coin Watch | A- |
| Messari | B+ |
| CoinGecko | C |
Schwenkler, Shah and Yang, 26 October 2025, Section 7.3. Sample: November 2018 to October 2024. The grade reflects the share of a provider's daily data that the authors' method discards as unreliable, so a lower share is better. The section grades six of the eight providers studied. Monthly grades vary, and the paper notes months as low as C and as high as A+. This is academic research hosted on SEC.gov, not an SEC grade or endorsement.

The right licence for your product
Enterprise is the only plan that lets you redistribute or share CoinPaprika data. It needs a dedicated contract.
Keyless
Personal use. Side projects, learning and prototypes. Not for a commercial product.
Starter to Ultimate
Commercial use inside your company. Your own tools, models, dashboards and reports.
Enterprise
Redistribution. Show, share or resell the data in a product that your own customers use.
Building a customer-facing product? Paid commercial use and redistribution are different rights. Agree your display and distribution needs with the team before launch; Enterprise licensing covers negotiated distribution rights. The standard API terms require a “Powered by CoinPaprika” credit.

Distribution rights
Display, redistribution and resale rights are negotiated in your Enterprise agreement.
A clear methodology behind every price
Each price is a volume-weighted average across the markets we track. It is never a quote copied from one exchange.
- 01 Collect Prices and volumes from every market on 361 exchanges.
- 02 Screen Four stages of outlier detection. Flagged markets carry
"outlier": true. - 03 Weight By traded volume and exchange confidence. Each market carries a
trust_score. - 04 Publish One price per coin, with the markets behind it one call away.
- 12,059 active coins of 62,063 records in
/v1/coins - 361 exchanges with live data of 1,141 listed in
/v1/exchanges - 2010 start of price history Bitcoin from 17 July 2010
Counted from the live API on . A coin counts as active only while it has current market data. Read the full methodology
Reliability you can build around
An availability guarantee, your own infrastructure and people you can reach at any hour.
99.9% availability
Guaranteed for the API on Enterprise. The self-serve plans have no SLA. Live status
Dedicated infrastructure
Enterprise includes dedicated IT infrastructure. The self-serve plans share theirs.
Support at any hour
A shared Slack channel, a dedicated email address and emergency phone support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Scoped to your integration. The SLA, the infrastructure and the support channel are written into your agreement when you talk to the team.
A simpler route from your current provider
Three things make a switch shorter.
ID mappings
GET /v1/coins/mappings matches CoinPaprika coin IDs to the IDs other platforms use, so your asset list carries over.
Contract lookups
Find any token by platform and contract address, when your system starts from on-chain addresses and not from names.
One API from prototype to contract
Paths and response shapes are the same on every plan. A prototype built without a key moves to Enterprise by changing the host and adding one header.
From requirements to integration
Four steps from the form to your key.
- 01 Send the form Tell us what you are building, your volume and what you need.
- 02 Get a plan and a price The data team replies with a quote for your coverage, delivery and licence.
- 03 Sign the contract It holds the redistribution licence and the SLA. Pay by card or in crypto; annual payment takes 10% off.
- 04 Get your key It opens REST and the WebSocket stream. Support runs in your shared Slack channel.
Let’s scope your data requirements
Share your product, delivery and licensing needs. Our team will help scope the integration.
- What you are building. A wallet, an exchange, a terminal, a research product.
- How the data reaches your users. Shown on screen, sent through your own API, or resold.
- How fresh it must be. Polling within a minute, or the stream.
